Water/Mold Damage Extraction/Restoration

It’s one of the most devastating things that can happen to a home or business: weather or plumbing conditions causing significant water damage to the building. NOVA is here to help in these instances, and will work with most insurance companies to get you a fair price and start the process of getting your property as good as new!

We start by removing anything damaged by the water entry. Using commercial grade heaters and blowers, we remove any excess water from the materials and leave them for your contractor to either reinstall or replace. If necessary, we do remove drywall and baseboards to insure that there is no significant water damage inside of the walls and/or along any corners where mold and mildew could grow. We will also disinfect all areas that have been damaged. We do roll back carpets and remove padding, and dry any 2×4 boards in the affected area. Most drying takes up to 3 days depending on the material and extent of the damage.

Payment options are flexible and can be worked out with the insurance company. Some agents will require a deductible paid through NOVA and then an invoice to the insurance company for the balance. Others will allow you to work with the insurance company directly for all matters of payment. Please speak with your insurance agent for more information if you will be making a claim for your property.

Please note that while NOVA will do a full review of the damage and recommend whether we feel an insurance claim is the best option, we are not an insurance company and do not recommend or subcontract for remodelers. We will gladly assess your property and perform the above mentioned services to avoid further damage prior to your remodeling.
